Candidacy Statement

I am running for the position of the Cornell Democrats Director of Community Relations. I have served as the Director of Community Relations for most of this semester and I would like to continue my role on the Democrats eboard. I am very involved in many other clubs including, the Sustainability Hub, Kyoto Now, and The Society for Natural Resource Conservation. I have also been working with Cornell Organization for Labor Action on the UAW campaign for a fair contract for Cornell workers. I think it is very important for the Democrats to continue working with other clubs on various campaigns to keep the club active, as well as retain members. I believe that I can continue to coordinate and communicate with other clubs to help keep the Democrats active on campus.
