Weekend Trip to attend the Rally to Restore Sanity or March to Keep Fear Alive
Join the Cornell Democrats in DC for Jon Stewart's and Stephen Colbert's Rallies. While we're there we will also volunteer at Democratic National Committee Headquarters and have an opportunity to socialize with the Georgetown Democrats. Weekend Campaign Trip to Pennsylvania for Joe Sestak
Join the Cornell Democrats to campign for Joe Sestak. Sestak is a PA senator who is in a very tight race against an ultraconservative candidate. It's one of the most important Senate races this cycle. If you are interested in attending the trip, please email Andrew White at asw84@cornell.edu and mention if you have a car that you may be able to bring.

Jeopardy with the Cornell Democrats

A Discussion with Jorge Bermudez
Join us for a discussion with Jorge Bermudez, former Citigroup Chief Risk Officer and board member of the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank. Mr. Bermudez will discuss the financial crisis and what steps are needed to proceed forward. His presentation will look at the crisis and the response of the government from both an American and global perspective.

Pam Mackesey to discuss her campaign for the New York State Senate
New York State Senate candidate Pam Mackesey will come speak to the Cornell Democrats about her campaign efforts. She is a very strong progressive candidate with a background in union organizing, who opposes hydrofracking, and will support marriage equality and women's reproductive rights in the state legislature.
